Hello, I’m Ola
I’m a Usui Reiki Master Practitioner, Sound Therapist and founder of Moja Wellbeing, based in Palmerston North and Wellington, New Zealand. I offer gentle therapeutic support through Reiki and Sound Therapy, creating space for rest, clarity and reconnection, particularly during times of transition, uncertainty or recovery.
The name Moja holds everything this practice stands for.
It means "mine" in Polish — a reminder that your time, energy and healing belong to you, and that wellbeing is a personal journey, shaped by your story, your experiences and your inner wisdom.
Rooted in legacy, inspired by healing
The name Moja is a tribute to my family heritage and to the love, strength and resilience of the people who came before me.
My mother emigrated from Poland after WWII and devoted her life to healthcare in the NHS. Her strength, commitment and service to others shaped the way I hold space today. Her journey, alongside our shared experience of overcoming cancer, has profoundly shaped my understanding of healing and wellness. I am honoured to carry that legacy forward through my work, creating safe, supportive spaces where others can reconnect with themselves.
My Story
I came to this work through my own experience of illness, healing and rebuilding. In 2021, shortly after my 39th birthday, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I felt suddenly unmoored and disconnected from myself — caught somewhere between fear and uncertainty. And yet, somewhere in all the upheaval, there was also clarity, and an invitation to look honestly and compassionately at my wellbeing and how I was really living.
In those early days, it felt like the thread of life had been pulled out of my hands, but with the guidance of my trusted practitioners and medical team, and by learning to listen to my own body and inner wisdom, I realised the thread was there all along, waiting for me to take hold of it again. As my thinking mind quietened, I began to truly listen to my body. I let go of the noise and the expectations and started paying attention to what was right for me. I realised then that I wasn't powerless, and I could play an active role in my recovery.
What followed was transformational - and laid the foundation for the work I do today.

Your Questions, Answered

I am currently based in Palmerston North, New Zealand and relocating to Wellington later in 2026. I offer in-person sessions in both locations and Distance Reiki worldwide, including the UK.

I have an academic background in psychology and a strong foundation in clinical, trauma-informed training — and yet the way I work is completely intuitive and holistic at heart. My sound therapy training spans two years with the British Academy of Sound Therapy, graduating with Distinction — a comprehensive programme that goes far beyond relaxation and sound bathing. My sessions incorporate somatic exploration and therapeutic techniques that work with the body's own wisdom to support deeper, lasting healing.
I also understand what it means to be on the other side of this work. Having navigated cancer, I know firsthand what it feels like to need support, to feel vulnerable, and to find healing in unexpected places. That experience shapes everything about the way I hold space.
I work with a small number of clients at a time — which means when you come to me, you have my full attention, my genuine care and a practitioner who will remember your story from one session to the next.

The CNHC — Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council — is the UK's national regulator for complementary therapists. CNHC registration means I work to the same professional standards recognised by the NHS.

Yes — Distance Reiki is just as powerful and effective as an in-person session and is available worldwide. Many of my clients are based in the UK and receive sessions remotely.
