Sound Bath Experiences

An hour of sound played just for you

Personalised Sound bath experiences for deep rest and relaxation in Wellington.

A sound bath supports your body and mind to properly rest. You lie down on a couch, warm and comfortable, and I play any instrument of your choice — crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls (on and off the body), monochord, tuning forks or voice.

As you listen, your brain moves out of busy, everyday thinking and into the slower brainwave states associated with deep rest — where the body naturally restores itself.

If you've been feeling stuck mentally, creatively or emotionally, this is often where things loosen, and thoughts begin to untangle on their own.

Sound baths may support:

  • broken or restless sleep

  • stress and feeling overwhelmed

  • tension held in the body

  • feeling stuck, mentally or creatively.

Sessions take place in my home studio in Newlands, fifteen minutes from the city and surrounded by trees and birdsong. Every session can accommodate one or two people — partners, friends, sisters, anyone who would prefer to rest with another.

Maybe you're curious about sound and want somewhere to begin that feels safe and supportive, or you've been to a group sound bath and want to experience the instruments in a one-to-one setting. Either way, all you need to do is arrive. There's time for questions before and after, and the experience in between is yours.

Working with sound can spark a personal process, and if it does, my 1:1 sound therapy goes a little deeper. A lovely next step when you're ready.

After the last session, I slept through the whole night without waking up at all — something which hasn't happened for me for around a year. My energy levels have improved, and also my ability to relax and recharge.
